Something I never really expected to work out…seems to be working out.  Slingshot57 is performing an acoustic set together again for an evening after 3 years of life in other places…

I am leading a team of college students from here at Axiom at the University of Illinois to work with Forget Me Not Ministries in Tinca, Romania this coming May to work alongside Rachel Ross as she loves on and pours into abandoned children.  This is an incredible ministry with the vision to change a culture by changing a generation.  Jesus is changing lives through this ministry and I am super jazzed to be returning again with students!

So as we prepare for the trip, one of the necessary steps is raising funds to cover the costs…and so our team is hosting a coffee house benefit show to do just that…

Personally, I can admit that I am rather excited to just share music with the guys again…I’ve missed that.
